Here is my review of the Guayaquil Consulate.
Got there approximately 7:00 AM, Our Interview time was 7:40.
Around 7:30 am we started getting divided into separate lines depending on your schedule time. I noticed the 7:40 am was mostly resident type visas. We got to the first security check point. (DO NOT BRING THE MEDICAL CD). Once inside we went thru the Metal Detector.. (Please listen to the instruction of the guards) some people just don't pay attention and starts arguing with them.
Once inside we sat down on the green chairs. 15 min they called us and the lady told us to give the passport, police certificate, the medical envelope and birth certificate. Then she took my fiancee finger prints, and She asked us some questions like:
When and where did we meet?
When is the Wedding?
and told us to sit down.
1 hour passed and they Called us again for the Real Interview
The American Consul Called us and asked my fiancee
When and Where did we meet?
When is the Wedding?
How many time has your petitioner traveled to see you?
Do you have family in the US?
What do you do for a living?
Have you been to the US before?
Me (the petitioner) didn't say one word, I should had label my forehead with a stamp that said Evidence, because he never asked me anything and all my paperwork that i printed was not needed.
Then he said the Magic word. "OK, Your resident visa has been approve, you may continue with your wedding plans"
Happy moment!!!
Review of the consulate was great! If you follow instructions they wont bother you
