On July 7th I had my interview. I was there very early and the security officer said that I should come back when it was time, because it didn't matter to wait there for an hour and a half( yes I was that early plus I didn't sleep that night). He was very friendly and me and my Dad who came for moral support waited at a cafe/restaurant right across the street. I had the appointment at 1.30PM and I went back around 1.
I had to wait for a short while. The keep asking if you had mobile/electronic devices with you(can't believe you take them with you when on your appointment letter it clearly says to not bring any). One guy had his hand broken and was told to come back again later since you need to have your fingerprints taken. When I went through the security check the security officer told me to go to window 5 and wait there in the same order as I came in(in line).
One girl was waiting in the wrong room(don't get that either when they clearly tell you where to go. I was behind her and hear him say it clearly to her. I guess she was very nervous).
We first thought we had to get inline in order of entrance, so you can imagine my surprise when they called out people by name.Luckily for me I was first.
The guy behind window 5 was very nice and just asked for some papers. Your police reports, I-134 PLUS supporting evidence(please people don't forget!) and your birth certificate. Then I had to wait again.
The next window opened and the lady called my name. She asked a few questions, like how did you guys meet, did you meet his parents and did they like you. Did he met your parents and did they like him. How long are you together. How many times did you meet. Does any of you have children. He does so she asked what their names are and if they liked me. Then she asked for some pictures. Since my fiance and I where married before she had some questions about that.
Then she looked at her screen and said that my file was complete. Then she said something about my visa, but I couldn't really here since on that exact moment her mic when out for a sec. So she continued by saying I would get my passport and original documents back within 5 working days. So I was like ok..
And then she was like. That's it, good bye. I was still a bit confused and said good bye to her.
While I walked outside I realized what it meant and walked over to my Dad with a big smile on mt face!
