It was a pretty easy and nice experience. The only bad thing is the waiting time at the interview room. I had to wait an hour until I was called by the window 12, this guy got my medical exams. My civil documents(original) fingerprints, passport and pics. Then 45 mins to wait for my interview, but it is only last about 5 mins. He asked how, and when did I meet my husband? Then asked me what do I like about him, ask for pics, and he said ok, you are approved in 3 days you will receive a confirmation email from DHL, so you can pick up your passport and the immigrant packet. I check the CEAC site at 8am, and it shows administrative processing, around 11am it shows Issued. So I just need to wait for DHL confirmation email.
I could hear some others interviews, I could tell you most of them didn't have the correct documents, they had only copies, not the originals.
I suggest being confidence, short and direct answers. My app was schedule at 8:30am and i left the Embassy by 10:20am.
Don't try to go too early, they don't let you get in or wait at the door. Just arrive 15 mins before your interview, I arrived at 7:40am and a "promotor" told me and the others we had to wait in front of the embassy and just get in the line at 8:20 even that my appointment letter said I should arrive 30 mins earlier.
PLEASE: Don't bring cell phones, electronic devices, purses, bags etc they won't let you get in! Outside the embassy there are some young people who store cell phones for some money. Usually 10 soles(3 dollars). I don't know how much they charge for purses or bags, I hear it depends on how much worth your belongings. I didn't had to use their services because a friend of mine was waiting for me at the Starbucks at El polo shopping center.
