*Before the interview*
The BA embassy is extremely helpful; they answer emails very quickly, usually within 24 hours. Their email address is BuenosAires-IV@state.gov
They also have hours of service for people processing immigration visas on

The BA embassy requests that you send copies of all the papers before scheduling an interview date. This is really good, because when you get to the interview, you know the papers are in order (they’ll contact you otherwise), and you just worry about talking.
For packet 3 you’ll need the standard papers:

• A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States.
• Birth certificate
• Divorce or death certificate of any previous spouse for both the applicant and the petitioner
• Police certificate from all places lived since age 16

(processing times vary from 8 hours to 5 days, with different fees)
• Medical examination
When you go get the lab tests, if you go before 8 am, the results are ready that same day at 7pm. Otherwise, you get the results the next day. Be sure to go on an empty stomach!
Make sure you have all your vaccination certifications.
• Evidence of financial support
• Two Nonimmigrant Visa Applications, Form DS-156 (A Form DS-156, prepared in duplicate.)
Send 2 copies of this form and not just one! We assumed the 2 copies would have to be presented at the interview, but we got an email the next day asking us to forward another copy.
• One Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application, Form DS-156K
• Two nonimmigrant visa photos (each two inches 50 X 50 mm square, showing full face, against a light background)
Make sure to include these pictures when you send the copies to the embassy too
• Evidence of a fiancé relationship
(Among emails, chats and other evidence), we submitted color copies of the photos of evidence of relationship, but they asked us to submit them again, and we sent photos printed in standard photo paper.
• Payment of fees (U$S 100). Payable at Banco Ciudad or at the embassy. If you are paying at the embassy, you must have all dollar or all pesos currency (you can’t pay half in pesos and half in dollars or similar). Bring also 24 pesos for the DHL fee.
I had my interview 10 days after dropping off the papers at the embassy!! They sent me an email with the appointment date.
* The Interview*
(as fedekat said, print the email with the interview date, they will ask you for that at the entry). They asked me to hand in all the originals of all the papers. Then I waited one hour while the interviewer reviewed all the paperwork. Bring lots of pictures! As many as you can. I was asked to take an oath that I would answer truthfully, and they scanned my fingerprints. Then the interview was very relaxed, some normal questions: Do you want to live in the US and why, how did you meet your fiancé, How do you communicate...and we were approved. He explained the process at POE and AOS and wished me good luck with moving to the US
