Just came back from my Visa interview and it was a breeze.
I arrived about 20 minutes to 1 pm and was first in line to be let into the embassy. After leaving the mboile phone at the entrance and going through the security check I took a number at the kiosk, then took a seat in the waiting area.
I was called up to the window after about 10 minutes. Then another waith for 15 minutes before I was called to the window againto submit the documents. (Affidavit of support, D156, Medical forms) The lady at the counter was very friendly and we chatted about the application process, about literature and the weather.
I was told to sit down again and this time waited for approximately 30 minutes. When called to the window, another very friendly woman took my fingerprints, asked me to sign the letter of intent and the D156K. She asked where I met my fiancée, commented on the engagement ring and asked how my parents felt about my moving to the US. She gave me some advice about the Advanced parole and AOS process, and then told me I was approved. She didn't ask to see any supporting evidence other than what we had already submitted with the I-129 forms.
All in all, this was probably the easiest of the entire process. People were all smiles, and I have nothing but good things to say about anyone there.
