Conversation between the document intake officer and me:
O: Do you have your medical report with you?
Me: Yes
O:Give me the document inside the brown envelope.
Others like CD and vaccination sheet, keep it with you. You need it at your port of entry.
O: Have you been outside any country for more than 1 year?
Me: Yes. I have all the police report from all the countries where I have stayed for more than one year.
O: Oh, good. Do you have the original documents of your civil documents?
Me: Yes. (Here I gave all my original civil documents and the financial documents all together.)
Me: I also have the copies of civil documents. Do you want them now.
O: Oh good, yes please give them to me.
Officer didn't check financial documents properly at first then asked me "you have co-sponsor, do you have his documents?"
Me: I have already given them to you, all the documents for both the petitioner and the co-sponsor.
Officer now started checking every other document and started arranging. He then asked these:
O: So where did you live before coming to China?
Me: XXX
O: Sorry? what? prison?
He didn't hear me correctly and I said the country's name in Chinese. I do not know why he heard "prison".
This made both of us laugh for a while ...hahaha..
O: What is your highest degree?
Me : xxx
O: Is it from xxx?
Me: Yes, do you want need my certificate as well? (I showed him my degree)
O: No, I do not need it but I am going to make some comments here so the VO might want to look at it. You can show him if he does.
He then gave me my number and asked me to wait for my number to be called.

VO: Ok. You have been approved! Congratulations! Welcome to United States of America!
At that point in time, only I knew how I controlled myself not to shout out loud with joy.javascript:emoticon('')

He handed me over the beautiful white sheet with "Congratulations" on it. I still had few other things to chit chat with him regarding my case. He patiently answered everything.
Since my situation is special(foreigner), he helped me with the express delivery of the passport as well, for which I am million billion times thankful to him! Thank you very very much!!

However, I just found there is some problem on my Immigrant data Summary for which I have already sent email to Consulate and on which I really expect urgent help from Consulate as well. I didn't notice this when I picked up the visa packet. I only checked my passport information and completely forgot about this sheet and didn't check when I had such a good chance to be at the Consulate the second time ! So mad at myself right now!!javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')

Overall, it had been an amazing experience with Guangzhou.javascript:emoticon('')

Thank you very much to VJ forum creators/admins/members and to everyone who provided and shared us their valuable information.javascript:emoticon('')
