hello!
this is my first time using this website, just like to share my experience with you guys!
I had my marriage based AOS interview yesterday may 04 2016
I got there with my husband around 2:05. We left our phone in the car but here comes a problem.. I couldn't find my attorney!!!
I asked the officer if everyone walks in with their attorney and he said yeah pretty much or they know where to meet them. So I went back to the car called her and finally I found here(she was upstairs waiting for us the whole time)
SO if you are going with your attorney, make sure you guys talk about where to meet each other!!!
After we went upstairs we had to wait until 4ish to get called in.. I feel like our group was the only one laughing, talking, making jokes. To me I think its more weird being nervous and not talk.. (I did see some couple that looks very suspicious so if you know your marriage is real, be comfortable! don't be that nervous!)
around 4:15 we finally got called in. He was extremely nice. First he went through our personal questions( what is your full name, your parents name, yes or no questions) and same thing with my husband. And he asked us basic timeline of our dating and marriage(which took us about 2-3min to explain).
After that he asked for documents which I already gave everything to my attorney so she gave it to him( rent,electricity, house insurance, bank statement). After he took those docs, he asked for my album (I had about 150 pics including ceremony photoshoot we had) he looked at every signle one of them and took out most of the group pictures and some of pictures with us two in it.
After that he stamped my notice of action " scanned ", smiled and said okay everything looks good, you will receive your gc in 2 weeks!!!!! I was so happy how fast it went(took about 10 min) and I was shocked by how easy it was! my status on website isn't updated yet( still shows interview set date and time) but I'm extremely happy with the experience.( I'm still not sure what "sanned" stamped means but I have a feeling its a good thing? haha )
I wish every single one of you guys the best of luck, I'm sure as long as you guys love eachother and go over questions before the interview, you will pass  good luck!
