Thanks to VJ I had a very enjoyable time at the consulate, although nervous and shaking from standing in the cold rain outside.
My appointment was for 08.30, and I arrived more than an hour early. They started letting people in at 07.30. I stood in the (not sheltered) immigrant line all by my lonesome and was prioritized to come in. The security guys seemed confused that I was there so early, but took pity on me and waived me in.
The most awkward part was doing the little dance outside the window before they let me in (up to the window, back behind the line, take jacket off, turn around and show your feet etc, ha-ha). After that they let me in, I went through the security check and they took my phone. I got to keep the canvas bag with documents and my valet. I was told to go to window 7 inside the consulate.
Since I was early I waited for a while before somebody came to see me. The first lady took my passport and told me to wait.
I was called back by another lady to give her my documents. She was very pleased that I had everything in order. She collected my passport photos, my ds160 confirmation page, my BC, my police record, my fiancés I134 and financial information. She had me confirm that neither my fiance or me had been married before or had children and that I had not lived outside Norway or had any arrests outside Norway. Finally she asked for evidence of relationship. I gave her proof of our four meetings since we filed the petition, a Skype log and some BBM screenshots. She commented "wow, that's a lot", but seemed pleased. She commented that everything looked in order, made me write my address on an envelope and told me that I should expect 10 days for the visa processing.
Finally I had the interview with the consule. This was a young, blond and very sweet girl. She took my fingerprints and asked how we met, when we started dating, how many times I had been to visit him, how many times he had visited me, whether we had met each other's family, she asked me about his siblings, when our wedding was planned for, if my family would come for the wedding and how big it would be. Finally she said she had very good news, I was approved! She gave me my relationship evidence back and I was good to go.
I got my phone back from the security guys and one if them even offered to call me a taxi :-D
