Moscow, Russia | Review on March 25, 2016: | Dima_April

We had our interview for the K1 visa, in Moscow, on March 15, 2016. The CO was very pleasant, but left things open ended. The appointment time was for 9:30 am and we did not meet with her, until way after noon. The interview was brief, lasting maybe 5 minutes. She only took a small portion of our emails and no Skype conversations. She also told me that my bank statements and employment letter was not needed. The officer told us to check the website for further information, but did not indicate as to whether or not we received the visa.
All in all, it was a confusing experience. I felt bad, when questioned about our meeting only once and the fact that I was only coming to see my fiance in Russia, for the first time. I'm not a wealthy woman and I'm doing my best to make sure we have enough for the affidavit of support. I simply cannot run to Russia, every time I wish. I also work. Finally, there was the question about meeting on a dating sight. I don't understand why this would be a problem? Many "Americans" meet their "American" partners on dating sites, nowadays.
It's been over a week and our status has not changed; still in AP.
