There are several reviews explaining the process since you get at the embassy (such as security; things allowed to bring; being interviewed by two officers, first one Venezuelan, second one American) until you leave. So, I'm gonna focus in other details, like documents: They're not asking lately for I-134, affidavit of support, W2s and 1040s. It doesn't mean you shouldn't bring them with you (they might ask for them, of course!) but don't worry so much if your incoming is not that good, the most important thing is to be confident, honest and being in a real relationship. Consulate interview is more like a formal requeriment to know your health status and double check if you're saying the truth. Therefore, don't be nervous, DON'T LIE AT ALL and everything will be OK. People at the embassy were very nice and polite, feel free to ask whatever you need to clarify; BTW, I met the girl from "Dama & Carlos" VJ casually at the embassy that day that was such a good relief! since we could chat a lot while we were waiting for the interview, that way time went by faster and we could let get out our nervousness by talking and laughing, hehe and then we both shared our happiness after being approved!! :D I highly recommend to contact people who are in similar timelines, probably you might get accompanied by some VJ pal on the interview day
