Overall experience from my fiancé and my Mom who had interviews one day after each other was good I will do the review based on my fiancé's experience.
His interview was at 7:30 am ( I was unable to assist ) he arrived at 5:30am there was already over 50 people waiting outside most of these people are there for tourist visas around 6:20 they start letting people go inside.
Once you go inside someone gives you a little chat on what items are not allowed inside the embassy, then you go to another check point where they check if you have an interview that day (have your passport, interview confirmation, and DS160/260 confirmation depending on your case ready ) these are the first things they will be asking you for. After this you go thru your last check point where they will be checking your belongings, you will then be directed to IV Immigration get a number take a seat and wait for your number to be called.
The first consular officer ( Venezuelan lady ) called my fiance asked him for his antecedentes penales (police certificate ) asked him to open his medical packet in front of her and hand them over while she was going thru all of the paper work, then asked him the following questions :
• What is your fiances phone number
• What do you do for a living
• What does she do for a living
• Are you divorced?
• Is your fiancé divorced?
She then had my fiancé pay his visa fee in the amount of 1669 Bolivares told him to keep the receipt, take a seat and wait for the Consul to call him for the rest of his interview, the consul called him by his name and then asked him the following:
• What are your wedding plans?
• When did you meet your fiancé?
• How often and how do you communicate?
• Is your daughter accompanying you?
• When was the last time you saw your fiancé
He then made him raise his right hand and had him swear to go by the United States rules and some other stuff that he can’t remember because he was very nervous, and then said your visa has been approved. He was out of there at 11:10 am.
My Mom had her interview at 9am was out by 10 same initial process as my fiancé, she wasn’t asked any questions visa was approved as well.
Just be confident and know your partner very well. Good luck to everyone out there still waiting
