Review Topic: K1 Visa

The entire process was smooth and straightforward.
The interview was scheduled at 1300hrs and I had reached there at 1215 which was good as I was the second person to arrive.
Getting to the embassy early does have an advantage, which is that you get the ticket number (i.e., badge) first. Make sure to wear the badge on your shirt/top and is clearly visible from afar.
Once you reach the Embassy, proceed to Window 2 and submit your Civil ID and you will get your ticker number.
The gates only open at 1300hrs.
So you will need to wait inside the waiting room (Air conditioned) adjacent to the Window 1-2.
The waiting room is quite spacious and well ventilated and there is an Aramex office towards the end of the room.
Once the gates are open, they will start calling the ticker number in ascending fashion.
You will have to go through another round of screening process (something like the Airport security) and once cleared, you will have to make your way out of the building to another one.
There are officers/security personnel everywhere, so don't worry! You do not need to worry about getting lost.
Once inside the building, collect the token from the "Immigrant Visa" section and proceed to enter the room.
Take a seat.
The Embassy has around 12 counters, and the number on the token will be displayed clearly on the sign-board.
Once your number is called out, proceed to the counter number and hand over the documents. The overall process was smooth and straight forward.
The payment option was cash (preferably in USD, else KWD) or Credit Card. No debit card (KNet) is accepted.
The American CO was friendly and engaging! The interview lasted no more than 5 minutes and it was painless.
All thanks to God, the entire process went smoothly without any hiccups!
