My fiancée arrived 10 minutes Before the suggested time of 7:30am, 1/2 hour before they open the building. There was already a line, and it was raining. Demonstrating compassion not normally observed in Government workers, the
Embassy opened the doors early and allowed the line to come in out of the rain. The process within was typical of a government run facility. Take a number, wait for your number to be called, proceed to ( ) window, surrender [ ] documents, please sit back down and wait to be called again, etc...
After a couple of laps around the interior 'window shopping', it was my fiancée's turn for the interview. She was given the option of being interviewed in English or Korean. The Consulate interviewer was an American born Korean, and so spoke both languages fluently. My fiancée chose English, and just a few questions later, she was done. The Second (2nd) folder of additional relationship evidence was neither needed or accepted. Perhaps having it was enough. All in All, a very easy process, made possible by the professionalism of the people who work there at the Embassy in Seoul.
