Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husband's interview was at 9:45. About 45 minutes before he stood in a long line to enter the embassy. Once he was inside, the took his pictures and addressed envelope and then he had about another gour wait.A lady with a bob cut hairstyle interviewed him. She was very pleasant and asked a few questions about our marriage and about what we plan on doing in the States (my husband, son, and I live in Israel). She seemed to know our case very well and after he answered her questions she told him he was qualified for a visa. He waiting a little bit longer until he was called again with information regarding pick up of his passport and information on how to pay the final immigration fees and he was out the door around 12pm. We were very very organized and well prepared. Overall it wasnt at all as bad as we anticipated.
