Review Topic: K1 Visa

Our Interview appointment was at 9:45am and we got there at around 9:10am.
There was a small line outside the entrance but it wasn't too bad. After showing them the interview appointment confirmation page and our passports,
we got my number and a visitor card for my fiance from window 1 (it didn't matter which window, there was only one line at the time).
After that we had to go through security.
After passing that, we had to go through a courtyard to the next building where a receptionist guided us to the first window, which was the cashier. (window 22). Since the fees were already paid, the lady at the window took my passport and told us to find a seat and wait for our number to be called up.
After the number was called up, we had to go to a different window (21), where another lady took fingerprints, checked personal data from the ds-160 before she explained the procedure and also showed us how the sealed package looks like.
After some more waiting the vice consular at window 18 called my name. My fiance could stand next to me during the interview.
I had to take the oath, take fingerprints again, and then interview began.

The consular had a really nice and friendly attitude. I was really nervous at first but it relieved me a little that he was also talking to my fiance not just me. At some point during him asking questions, I was at a loss of words and I explained that I was nervous and then he answered I don't have anything to worry about because it's just a normal conversation and the hard work was already done. He also spoke about himself a little so that loosened up the atmosphere as well
The Interview was about 10 Min long, he checked the information in the computer several times. He didn't ask for any more additional information, even though we brought a folder full of supporting documents, pictures, etc.
Then he told us the visa was approved and handed me my original documents which i sent in the package 3.
After that he asked us when we are planning on traveling to the US and we said that we would like to leave on Monday, because my fiances leave is over then and we want to fly together. He said he understands and that he is trying his best to make it as quick as possible.
And here we are, the interview was on Wednesday, 21st, I just got my visa in the mail today, the 23rd! So that was super fast. I'm really happy it was such a pleasant experience and that they really cared for our wish.

The questions he asked were (he asked us both not just me )
-How and when did you meet?
-He asked my fiance what he was doing for a living and if hes military
-whether or not we met in Germany
-how did the relationship develop
-casual questions, like small talk . (about thanksgiving, haha)
