My interview was on the 6th of October, at 9 am.
Like most people here the entry into the consulate was the same, Level 10 for security, then level "gawd knows but my ears popped" for the interview.

When I had my number and I sat there with all my paperwork, with photos, tickets, stubs, chat and phone records, birthday cards etc and waited.
You get called up to one window where a gentleman took the important documents (the originals for the copies I had sent in via email earlier) and then back to the seat and wait.
After a while (like an hour or so) I got called up for the interview itself. It was like 4 or 5 questions and the lady didn't even need to see the evidence I had. Sadly there was a problem with the financial paper work (See Aussiegal85 below, I was the one "declined") but it wasn't a full decline they just needed one more bit of paperwork. The interview it self was easy. and when I got the paper work from the USA (a co sponsor) thanks to Fedex, I express posted it to the consulate... and as of yesterday I am the holder (literally) of the visa to be able to stay and live with my wife in the USA

The consulate itself was very professional and friendly, and they made sure I know how to fix the problem I had in the fastest way.
