My fiance's interview date was July 17, She said it was very well and the guy who interviewed her was very polite, the whole process was 1 and half hours, including the 5 mins for the actual interview. she was required to come at 7:00am and she got thier on time. After strict security, they called her inside and on one booth they asked for her packet (Medical and proofs usually pics. She gave them on the window, and then they told her to sit down until they call her name. finally after 20 mins they called her name, and she went to the second window, where an American and a translator were sitting. the first question that they ask was, Do you need a Translator. My wife said No. and then he asked her, Whats your fiance's name?, What does he do for living. When did he move to states? How did he propose to you? one weird question was, What was your reaction when he proposed to you? My fiance's reply was "I was happy". He also picked out a picture that I sent them initially of me my brother and his wife, and asked my fiance who the girl is in the pic. and she replied the girl was my sister in law. while he was asking all these questions he was looking at the papers that he had. In the end he said Congratulations You got ur visa, he kept her passport, and gave her a pink slip and told her that your visa will be mailed to you with in a week at American Express Bank in Karachi. and she will get a call from them. From all this, what I gather is that they only asked my fiance questions based on the information I provided initially, I gave them information about my job and also how I proposed to my fiance and I also sent them the pic of me, my brother and his wife, with their names on the back. Seems to be easy to me. My fiance was not nervous at all, but ofcourse every thing happens with the will of Allah so I suggest pray two rakat nafil salatul hajaat before going there and that do the work.
