My wife's interview at Lagos Consulate went perfectly well today. To God be the glory! My wife said the interview lasted for just about 5 minutes. Here are the questions asked:
-Where did you meet your husband?
-Have you or your husband been married before?
-Do you or your husband have kids?
-How did your husband get into the US?
-Where does he live?
-Does he live alone?
-What school did your husband attend in the US (I guess the CO asked this question because I was at the US embassy 5 years ago interviewing for a student visa).
Those were the questions asked but the CO asked for affidavit of support documents and my wife handed them to him. No other proof of relationship was asked apart from those sent to USCIS and NVC.
Overall, it was a nice interview and God took absolute control. I conducted series of mock interviews for my wife prior and sent many supporting documents but we knew God's intervention was the most important.
For those still waiting for interview, I pray you will get the good news very soon. Be positive, be proactive, take nothing for granted in your preparation and then pray for success.
Many thanks to everyone on this forum. VJ has been extremely helpful all along. I'm glad I joined. This isn't goodbye, I will definitely be around to contribute as much as I can to help others on this nerve-racking journey.
Thank you and God bless!
