My fiancé arrived at the embassy at 6:20am on a Monday. There was already a queue, and he said it remained first come, first served throughout his whole experience today (no one cared that his appointment was set for 7:15am). He went through security, showed his interview date confirmation, had to drop off his cell phone, then wait. He was glad he dressed warmly since he had to wait outside, in between his stops at the 3 separate counters. In total he was there for 3 hours before getting approved (!!!) Here's the detail of all that was needed from him, though we recommend everyone be as overly prepared as possible!

1st counter--a lady asked him to quickly hand her the following items:
-Confirmation of interview appointment (printed from ais.usvisa-info.com website)
-passport
-birth certificate & copy of birth certificate
-DS-160 confirmation page
-DS-160 payment receipt
-police certificate
-I-134 Affidavit of Support
-my tax transcript (though we had the full tax return, not the transcript)

2nd counter--fingerprints were taken

3rd counter--man asked him the following:
-How did you meet your fiance?
-When did you first become romantic?
-Have you been married before? Has she?
-Have you ever been to the US before?
-What is your job? Your fiance's job?
-How long was she in Kenya the first time you met each other?
-When did you last see each other?
-What other paperwork did she send you with?
He asked to see the letter from my boss verifying my current income (since it is higher than my previous year's taxes). He did not ask to see ANY evidence of relationship, but we did submit a good amount with our original I-129F application. Then he handed my fiance a green piece of paper saying "approved" and said DHL will email him when he can go pick up his papers!

For the record, here is the full list of items he carried with him to the interview (though not all were needed):
-Passport
-Birth certificate & copy
-Police certificate
-3 passport-style photos
-DS-160 confirmation page
-Receipt of payment for DS-160 fee
-Confirmation of interview appointment (printed from ais.usvisa-info.com website)
-copy of NOA2 approval
-I-134 Affidavit of Support, with supporting evidence of Tax Return, Employer Letter, copies of paychecks, and bank statements for last 6 months
-Vaccination forms & payment receipt from IOM medical exam; disc of x-rays (forced to leave this with security at the gate)
-Evidence of relationship, covering the last 8 months since we applied for I-129F (photos, Whatsapp screenshots, Facebook Messenger call logs, cards we have exchanged, plane tickets from flights we took together, various proof of wedding plans, recently updated letters of intent to marry from each of us)
-full copy of I-129F application (which included evidence from early stages of our relationship and all other required forms)

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have while preparing for your own interview! Wishing everyone luck and happiness ASAP.
