My interview was on June 10.
The entire interview process is relative simple and easier than I expected although I waited outside of the embassy for a good 45 minutes.
The first guy I met was a Chinese who mainly to ensure the completeness of all my supporting documents. He only asked me how I met my hubby, what he does and requested for some photos of us. That's it!! Nothing tricky.
The second guy I met was a Caucasian and he is the real Officer who tells you whether he would approve your application. He was very straight forward and told me my case look good and he would approve it within the next day to two.
Yay....and I thought my VISA process ends here, but guess what!!!!!
I found it on Jun 15 that they are not able to issue my visa due to some technical issue with all the VISA systems overseas. I am very upset and disappointed about this as I am supposed to attend my sis-in-law's wedding on the 20th in the US. Well....life sometimes is full of surprises and we can only deal with it.
