A relatively straightforward process. Arrived 20 minutes early and was allowed straight in. I had a jacket and a laptop bag with my documents. You leave everything in a small locker, but anything bigger than a small backpack/bag would be too big. Basically take a bag for your documents, leave everything else behind.
Everyone was polite and friendly, both to me and the other people there. After waiting 30 minutes I was called to a window and we started to go through my documents with a Kiwi woman. I had sent all originals but had duplicates ready. They asked for my original police certificate which threw me as I was certain I had sent it in with my original package. Eventually it was found in my oackage. We updated some financial information and took fingerprints. I then sat down again, and then was called and spoke to the consular officer who was American. I had to swear an oath that the information was correct and that was about it. They said that everything seemed fine and I could expect to receive my visa within a week. Interview was on a Tuesday, visa arrived today, Friday. Finally the wait is over!
