I will not write a long review at this time, the only thing I will say is that when you go to your interview, bring an AOS that is 100% updated, meaning all current info with a new signature and date. I had sent in my AOS about a year prior to the interview. I sent my husband with a mere copy of that AOS, but it was not accepted because it did not reflect our current situation. My husband was given a 221(g) and we submitted the updated documents that same day via Cargo Expreso. Also, bring your most recent tax return and original W-2's with copies!

My husband entered EWI and he was approved for an I-601a waiver. Most of our income is from him. Just showing our last tax return was not enough, since he has been here illegally. So, we also had to submit a letter from his current employer that he would still have his job when he returns, and also stating how much he makes (in his case per hour and the amount of hours he works per week). Finally, I submitted an I-864a for good measure even though it was not required. That was Thursday, April 30th. Our case status changed to ISSUED in the evening on Thursday, May 7th after first saying REFUSED and then saying AP (which at first scared me but then from reading the posts here found out it was just regular AP, not scary AP). Now we're just waiting for the passport to be sent back to the Cargo Expreso office!
