Hello everyone, we will be giving as detailed a review as possible because without all your help we wouldn't have been as prepared as we were, so thank you.
We arrived promptly at 8:45 straight to window one outside the gate. We did not have to make any line or wait, and if you have any questions please talk to the security guarding the entrance.
Then you'll make your way to the security check point where you take off coats and sweaters, and please do not have anything on you that you shouldn't have as per the consulate instructions. The couple ahead of us were kicked out of the consulate and had to throw away candy and come back in and start all over.
Then you'll make your way to get your finger prints done and there's a lady that will check your passport and hand you your green folder, where you will place the documents in order as per the instructions in the green folder.
Then you'll need head inside the waiting room where we did not have to take a number but automatically be called by our names. We had our names called about 30 minutes in to window 5 where we were asked to hand in the green folder along with the documents they asked for in the interview letter. Then everything was great and we took a seat to be called for the actual interview
We waited about an hour and a half to be called for the interview due to the systems being down, but the interview itself took no more than 10-15 minutes. The friendly officer asked both of us where we met, when we were married, if we knew each other's family personally, who came to the wedding, how many times I the petitioner have visited my wife, how long was my engagement, and I think that's about it and we were approved. One thing I do want to make sure guys have with you is extra copies of everything submitted in your packets. Better to over due than be missing something.
I really hope this helps and again thank you all.
