My wife went in for her interview this morning. She arrived at the Embassy in Lima around 5:45am and her interview appointment was for 8:15am - she was the first in line. She told me that the interview was a formality of everything we had turned in and done so far in the application process. The first step was meeting with the CSO who was young lady who treated my wife very well. She asked a few questions then asked me wife to take a seat. Then her name was called again by the second CSO who asked some of the same questions plus more, for example: Who is your husband's best friend? Can you point him out in the pictures you gave me? Where does he work? What does he do? Who is his boss? When and where did you first meet? Etc., etc. I would like to point out that there have been people who have posted on VJ that said the Consulate in Lima prefers to see the petitioner at the interview, but it wasn't so for our case. I'm glad because the tickets were expensive since it's around the same time as Spring Break here in the States!
To make a long story short, she was approved in about 30 minutes! We are both so happy and give thanks to the Lord for all He has given us.
