N-400 Interview:
Husband appointment time was at 2:09 pm. We arrived at Kopper Street location at 1:09 pm. My husband checked in, and that when the waiting began. We waited for 4 LONG EXCRUCIATING HOURS!!!! Several times, one of the workers will come out and tell others that are waiting for an interview that they are running behind. They called my husband at 4:50pm. It was a female white officer. He was sworn in, and then he was seated. According to my husband, the officer went through ALL his immigration documents that he has submitted since K1 visa. She asked him questions corresponding to what we answered on the application and his journey so far since he has entered the United States. After that he was asked 7 questions on the civic test:
1. When was the Declaration of Independence adopted? (Husband skipped that question)
2.Name one of the two longest rivers in the United States?
3. Who lived in America before Europeans arrived?
4. What is the name of the speaker of the House of Representatives?
5. What is the name of the President of the United States?
6. We elect a U.S. Representatives for how many years?
7. What do we call the first ten amendments to the constitution?
He did the reading and writing test, and then he was APPROVED!! Normally Baltimore office do the same day oath ceremony but since they were behind, those who passed had to come back Friday March 20th.
