Had my AOS interview yesterday in San Francisco. Our appointment was at 7.30, but we arrived at 7. The adjudicator called us at about 7.50 am. The process went pretty smoothly, the adjudicator ran through the documents, asked for my passport and EAD, and my wife's passport, confirmed our residence and if we were living together. Overall pretty straightforward as we had all the documents and has multiple proof of living together (joint bank statements, credit cards, tenancy agreements from 2 places we lived together, etc).

She then asked me a set of standard oath questions (e.g. did i belong to the communist party, etc)

Adjudicator asked petitioner 3 questions: 1) Where did we meet, 2) Did she meet my parents and how many times, and 3) Do we have any prior marriages.

She had some issue with our marriage certificate as it didn't state that it was on file with the registrar of deeds, but I had a certified copy from that same registrar that had a raised seal and statement saying it was filed for record. So pro-tip for anyone: GET CERTIFIED COPIES OF YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. Especially important, and it should be from the recorded of deeds and it should state: "This is a record on file with us" or something to that effect.

I received a text the next morning that said my card was in production.
