I was scheduled for interview at he Accra us embassy on the specified date at 7:30 am. One the interview date, i arrived early, about 6am where i sat patiently and waited at the round about just outside the embassy. At about 7 am, queues were formed to enter the embassy. i went through entry security checks and proceeded to the interview/visa section at about 7:15 am an waited to be called. I was initially called to window number 2 at about 7:45 am, where my original documents and some other documents which was sent to Nvc by the AOS package and iv package were handed over to me. The lady at the counter asked me to submit all other forms of eveidence i had brought with me to the interview for consideration. I began to give her stacks and stacks of documentation i had compiled and organised in folders. She was very impressed and commented i was very organised and has made her work very very simple for her. She commented to me that with all the documentation and the quality of the evidences i had brought to the interview, she was dead sure i might not even be questioned at all, and would probabbly just get approved without question but mentioned it wasnt her decision to make how ever.I was called back a few mins to window 1 where my finger print scans were taken. after about 10 minutes, i was called to window three where the visa interview took place. The Visa officer welcome and greeted me and asked if i was ok. He asked me to raise my right hand and swear an oath to say nothing but the truth during the interview. He then asked me if this was my first marriage, and if it was my spouses first marriage. He then asked how old our son is.He then said every thing is in very good order. Congratulated me on my immigrant visa being granted, handed me back all my documents and pictures with the exception of the original civil documents, and handed me a visa collection ticket to pick up visa a week from the interview date.the whole visa interview took about just 1 minute and left the embassy at 8:25 am. On visa collection day, i arrived at embassy an early, at visa collection time, went through entry security to the visa section. After about a 10 mins wait, was called to window one with instruction package ,instructions on what to do, and handed me my passport with the immigrant visa, gave me back my original civil documents and handed me a sealed brown envelope immigrant visa packet which was to be handed over to CBP officials at the USA port of entry.Over all, a very very smooth process with not problems.Advice is to prepare ahead of time for interview and compile as much eveidence of on going marriage as possible as your aim is to convince the visa interviewer of your case. One can never be too prepared, so just gather, organise and compile all relevant documentation. Its been a hard and long wait, but its all been worth it in the end. Glory be to God, he makes all thing possible and good in his own time.
