MEDICAL
Easy peasy. They just ask some questions, do a quick examination, take some blood and then you have to go to a different building to get your X-Rays done. The bad part is that they don't do anything about your vaccinations. They ask you not to bring your records, they don't need to see them. They tell you that you'll have them checked in the US. Nice, I'll have to pay again.
INTERVIEW
You get there, leave your phone, get a number and wait. An officer will check the papers you sent. You'll have to give him your medical results and your passport. He'll give you some originals back (like your birth certificate, but not your police records). Then, you'll have to wait again and a different officer will call you for the interview. The interview happens through a window, not in an office as I expected. He made me swear an oath and then he asked me "What's your story?", "When did you get enganged?" and "Have you met his parents?". He was pretty interested in when and where we got engaged, I think that he noted it down. Then he just told me that I was approved and that I'll be able to pick up my passport at the post office in one to two weeks. He didn't ask me for any evidence.
I spent almost an hour in the consulate, but the first paperwork took only five minutes and the interview about two. Everyone was very very nice. The first officer talked to me in Spanish and the second one in English. There was a bunch of babies crying in the waiting room, a bit annoying, but who cares
