The staff working at the embassy was very kind a very professional. I attended CR1 interview with my husband. After passing security check we waited about half an hour in the waiting room. After that we were called by a very nice Slovak lady who took my fingerprints, went through all our documents and explained everything in detail. After that we were told to wait in the waiting room and after about 15 minutes got called again to pay fees. This can be done either with cash or credit card. They don't accept debit cards. After paying the fee we were called by a nice and friendly American female consul who also took fingerprints. The whole interview took only couple of minutes. No questions were asked about how I met my husband or anything like that (maybe because they didn't need to verify the relationship since he was there with me). After that we were told to wait about 2-3 days for the visa since their system was down and they couldn't finalize the checks at the moment. Two days later we returned to the embassy for visa. The overall experience was very good and I was surprised how friendly everyone was including security.
