I just got back from Juarez and it was a really good experience, Im going to explain as much as I can about the whole trip, if you have any other question dont hesitate and send me a private message.
Biometrics
I did my biometrics in Hermosillo, Sonora, if you read the instrutions it says you can do this ahead, I wanted to feel Consulate Mode and prepare for the stuff to come so it was a good thing, its a really simple thing, it lasted it for 30 min, in this office they call you by your last name and then you go inside, its smaller than the one in Juarez so it was pretty easy, I brough with me, DS260, P4, Passport and the mail that they sent you with the info about your biometric appt.

My dad went to Juarez with me, the airline we used was Interjet, it is a Little more pricey than others but it rocks!! they are always on time, you can check two bags for free, they give you snacks, I recommend it. We stayed at Quality Inn near the consulate, the rooms where nice and comfortable, remember you are in Juarez not in Paris or New York, they are normal, clean, comfty rooms. So on monday we went to check were the Clinica Medica Internacional was, we asked the guards and told us to go to the SMALL clínica medica internacional first, this is really important YOu guys need to go to the small first and they will take you to the other one.

Got at the Medical at 5:50 and there was already around 25 people in front of me (but I had an appoiment hehehe) I went to Clinica Medica Internacional, I waited for 15 min, they check my papers (p4 and Passport), sent me to the pic and fingertips spend 3 min there, eyes exam 4 min there, waited for 3 more people so they can take us to the other part (crossing the parking lot) for about 5 min, got there and it was blood time, I knew it because I read all the reviews before and lets just said that I dont like needles, blood, doctors, hospitals BUT u cant be a chicken there so I was the first one and I had 3 guys looking at me (my group) I cover myself with my sweater and it was over in 5 secs, ( YOU CAN TAKE YOUR PURSE WITH YOU I KNOW ITS RANDOM I JUST REMEMBER).
They sent me to see the doctor, she was alone so it was really quickly, I got naked put that rope on and ask me a bunch of questions, she told me to take the rope off and turn around so the naked thing only lasted it for 2 secs, she didnt touch me, she didnt ask me about drugs, alcohol or if I smoke which I dont, so the whole doctor thing took 5 min, Then the XRAY part, again it was empty so it was really quick, the lady was really nice, called me sweetheart adn beautiful it made me feel good haha and then I changed and went to the vaccination. I brought my records with me, before the interview I went to Centro de Salud in my city, they accept those records because they know they are real and I got Varicella (I had varicela as a kid but I had no record so i decide to put the shoot) MMR, Influenza, Hepatitis B (2 shoots 1 month difference) and TD, the last one DONT get it in Mexico because they will put it again since they want TDap no TD so I got that and it hurt a looooot!!! Go to el centro de salud before your interview, THEY ARE FREE!!! I paid 220 physical and 60.40 FFF Vaccination!! I was Out by 7 and I pick up the results by 2 pretty easy and yes a day before my interview and it work out perfect.
Later that day my dad and I went to Cinepolis VIP to relax a Little before the interview, we saw Fury with Brad Pitt and lets say, It didnt help me relax at all hahaha I cant believe He died in that movie!!!!!

Got there by 8:30 waited in line outside for like 15 min with all the resident visas (like 80) that had the same interview time as me (9.15am) the consulate staff make you sit in some chairs and they will take you with a group of people sitting next to you (like 40) there are two sides, two bunch of chairs so they took 3 times the same side and not mine so I had to wait until 10.25 there, GOOD thing there was a really good loooooking guy next to me (Ricky Martin kind of good looking) so we talked a lot about our spouses and it made me feel good, I reccomend you to do that, talk to your neighboor about how funny it is that they said no to bring batteries to your interview I mean who would do that?? Side note: If your neighboor looks like Ricky Martin you can talk about that too. So then they sent us to the consulate they check at the entrance that you have with you, DS260, Passport,P4,Medical (close), inside you go thru security (dont forget to leave your batteries at the hotel room haha) and they to waiting área number 2, there they call you to a window to check again same papers above and sent you to different color chairs, black, Green or blue. Again Ricky Martin was next to me there too so we talked until it was my turn I was not nervous at all, it lasted 25 min, Dont know why, I brought with me 14 pounds of info, they didnt request to see anything, she was just typing and typing and typing, I got nervous for like 3 min and then she said your visa is APPRRRROOOVEEEED! I said thank you, YOU MADE MY YEAR, walked out and Ricky martin was with my dad outside waiting to see how it was HAHA ok, so now i think that Ricky Martin look alike was an angel that God sent to make me feel comfortable. !!
My dad and I also visited, downtown Juarez, nothing to see just the museum, we took a taxi from the hotel there it was 200 pesos each way. we had Lunch, dinner and breakfast at La Diana the restaurant at the quality Inn and as a Chef I will said its really good, best food around the consulate, the Salmon Carpaccio was delish and they Tres leche Chocolate cake was my celebratory dessert!!
Any questions Let me know
