I had a 9:30am appointment on 1/9/15. I was seated into the embassy by 9:30 after which it waited for my number/name to be called. Waited there for about 45 minutes then I was called and submitted my documents (birth certificate, non-impediment, police record, tax transcripts, job letter, W2, pay advice, I-134 form, divorce decree, passport pics). The officer checked them off asked me a few questions:
What is you fiancée name?
What is his number?
Is this your first marriage?
Is this your fiancée first marriage?
Have you travelled to the US before? Did you stay over six months?
Have you travelled to another country outside the US? Did you stayed over a year?
Are you married?
She then told me I have 90 days In which to get married after my admission in the US. I went back to my seat and waited for my name to be called again. I sat there for another 15 minutes the I was called and interviewd. Questions asked were:
How did you and your fiancée met?
What type of work he does? Which company?
Was he married before?
Have you visited him before?
How many times?
Do any of you have kids?
Why did he take this long to file for you? (Lol)
He looked through my file and saw the pics submitted from the petition then asked about our Ski trip.
He then gave me the pamphlet about my rights etc and told me everything on my file looks good. He then said we will release your passport as soon as the visa is issued. I was out of the embassy by 10:55 am.
