My interview with USCIS at Baltimore field office. Our interview was scheduled at 12:15 PM, we reach there at 11:45
We were called at 12:30 as we both proceeded, the IO ask my husband to wait as he needs a few minutes with me alone.
I went inside, was given the oath and after seat down, our entire dossier was laying open in front of him, the right has a yellow paper on top which scared me "the color scared me". He asked me about my passport and other IDs if i have. ohhh our interview was being recorded.
The IO asked me about: My name? My DOB? Date of Marriage? My husband name "he asked me to spell it"? My husband DOB? My husband's ex-wife name? My husband's children names and age? When I came to the U.S? My husband phone number and my phone number? Does my husband take any medicines? Does me or my husband smoke or drink? What cigarette he smoke? What does he drink? When did he proposed? Does he was a ring? From where w bought the ring? Does my family and his family attend the marriage? where did we get marriage? who attend the marriage and their names? where did we go after the wedding?
After that he printed my answers and he asked me to sign them and he gave me passport and my EAD card back and walked me out to the waiting room. I could see my husband worried and anxious as the whole interview takes 20 minutes.
The IO asked my husband to come in and I waited in the waiting room. He asked my husband he same questions and couple of extra simple follow-up like "what my husband son think about our marriage?". And he told my husband that everything looks good and that we should get the card in about a month, before Christmas.
In the end he told my husband "See we are not so mean after all" and smiled.
Our combine interview took about 35 minutes.
I want everyone to know although the questions that he asked seems difficult but they were very simple and they were asked in very friendly way.
The IO was very decent, gentle and friendly.
After that we went to eat at 2 pm, I received an email and message saying that GC has been ordered for production.
