-Met in 2012 got engaged
-Interview in 2013
Interview at 730 am waiting in line at 6 am wanted to be the first ones there and we were. Only thing was people were cutting in line and we ended up being around 4th or 5th. Rude. So you need your appointment letter to get in. And then you go to window number 1 and receive a number and are told to have a seat until your number has been called. Waited for about an 30- 45 mins before she was called to the window the first time. Took some documents ask her a few questions and waited some more. Second time up they took fingerprints. Sat down and waited again. Called up the third time and this was the actual interview. They asked us how'd we meet? How long have you known each other? How did you communicate after the ceremony? Ask me if knew how to speak Khmer. And Ask what I like about her. The same to her, they ask what she liked about me. Then asked us when did he propose? My wife answered in nov. (the day I landed in Cambodia and met in her person) He noticed in my passport that this was the day I landed in Cambodia and immediatley became suspicious. This is when he really started questioning the legitimacy of our relationship. "oh why would someone who they just met ask to engage the first day" idk why she answered like that honestly. Maybe because she was nervous. But to fully understand this situation you must be from Cambodia and know the customs and culture. I answered a week from the day i landed. He asked me in English and then had a translator ask her in khmer. He really didnt even look at a any evidence just our faces and made the decision to not issue the visa . Damn that guy
