The easiest experience ever!!
My appointment was at 11:30. I arrived to the embassy around 10:50. No queues in the front door.
The guard checked my appointment date an asked me to come back later around 11.15.
At that time I got in the embassy, they took and put away my phone and came in the waiting lounge.
I took my number and sat. I was the only person in that room until two more people came in.
Around 20 minutes later, a clerk ask us to come into the second waiting are until our number appeared in the screen with the assigned window.
Five minutes later my number appeared in the screen and I went to window 3. The administrative official took my fingerprints, review my docs and told me that everything was ok. She asked to wait till my number appeared again in the screen for the interview with the consular official.
5 minutes later I was assigned to window 5 for my interview.
The CO was a young and kind man. He took my oath (very formally raising my right hand and swearing all my responses would be true) and began to ask me the following questions (ALWAYS IN SPANISH, no English):
- When did you get married?
- When and where did you first me your spouse?
- How many people attended to your wedding?
- What does your spouse do for a living?
- Have you ever been in legal trouble or had any health problem?
"You will have your visa in a week. Congratulations"
That was all.
