This is my fiancee’s experience with the Embassy in Jakarta.
She arrived at the embassy 2 hours early and was told that she can only queue at the entrance about 30min prior to the scheduled interview time, so she had to walked around outside to kill time.
Once inside, she’s asked to go to Window 7 to turn in the I-134 and all supporting papers. They didn’t ask for the proof of ongoing relationship. Afterward she’s directed to Window 6 to pay the fee, which is only accepted in Rupiah or Credit Card, not US dollars.
Once the fee is paid, she waited about an hour for the interview.
During the interview, most of the questions focused on our first meeting (which was a family dinner). She’s asked on how she got to know me, why she was invited to my family dinner and what the dinner was for. Other questions are what I do for work, how many times we met, when was the last time she met me, and when i proposed to her.
The entire interview probably takes about 15min.
Overall it was a nicer than expected experience.
