Finally! After waiting 1 year & 4 months, our journey of waiting to get approved is over!! So here's our story.
My husband had an 8 Am interview in skopje macedonia, he left his house at 4:15 am & arrived at the embassy at 6 am. There were a bunch of people waiting in line,he had to wait till 8 am for them to let everyone inside. He went thru security check No Cellphones, belts, anything electronic is not allowed inside with you. They gave him a number & told him to take a seat. Then after 30 mins he was called up to window 1 a lady checked his douments. Then told him to take a seat later on he was called up again to window 2 for finger tips then was told to have a seat. Afters hours of waiting he was finally called up to window 3 a Co officer told him to raise his hand & swear by everything he says it's true. My husband speaks Albanian so he needed a translator, he said it was over the phone. Anyways the officer asked him 7 simple questions.
Questions that were asked
1. How did you meet ur wife & when was that? (We met thru facebook in 2012)
2.who's ur joint sponsor?
3.when did ur wife come to visit you?
4.when did you get married?
5.does ur wife work?
6.what is ur joint's sponsor's last name & what does he do for a living?
7.do you know ur wife's parents?
The co officer told my husband to come back after 5 days at 11 am to drop his passport off & come back at 4:30 pm to pick his passport & visa.
Over all it was an Okay experience. Glad this journey of waiting is over!!!
