I had my appointment for 1pm, arrived at the embassy at 12:45pm no line, and went straight into the embassy. Was given a number and waited about 15mins to be called, gave the postal order with the Visa fee, and sat down again. After about 10 mins was called up again, the initial consulate person asked for my documentation, she asked for a tax return from 2013, which I did not have, she said the case would be suspended until it was provided but I was to sit and wait and a consulate official who would talk to me. After a further wait of about 15mins, I was called up to be interviewed. The consular official this time, asked some questions, where we met, where we will live, asked to see the additional information about the relationship, photos, emails, timeline and list of all the times we met. He said the tax returns were not required, we'd supplied enough information. I swore an oath and that was it. Time taken about 50 mins. The interview was quick, and the official who interviewed me was very polite and friendly.
