I had my oath ceremony today (9/24/2014) at the Baltimore field office. We were directed to the same waiting room as where we had to wait for the interview. Oath ceremony was scheduled for 2pm, about 2:05pm an immigration officer walked in and directed us to the room. He went thru instructions (turn in your greencard, complete back of form, etc.) Then we all went up to turn in the paperwork. Even though the oath ceremony invitation/letter has a number written on it they didn't go by the numbers, he called us up one row at a time. I was sitting in the front row, yet I was the last one to get my certificate. We saw a video, welcome from the president. Then another officer came in to officiate the oath. We sang the national anthem and recited the pledge of allegiance. Both officers passed out certificates at the end of the ceremony. The room was a good size, it was pretty full. Guests were allowed, someone had a toddler that screamed all the way thru the ceremony, I felt sorry thinking it was a single parent, at the end when we were taking pictures I realized there were 3 adults with this toddler and only 1 of them was naturalized. Needless to say it was difficult to hear the immigration officers over the cries of the toddler. This made our ceremony longer as people kept asking questions that the immigration officer had already reviewed. After the ceremony when we were leaving, this family decided to stop to take pictures outside of the Baltimore office, the toddler is then running up and down the parking lot, a security officer had to come and tell them to get the child out of the street!

Try to get there a bit early as the line to go thru security was long as everyone arrived at the same time.
