I will omit the details of the actual interview as mine was very similar to other reviews that were posted earlier on here. Mine only took an hour, which was surprising to me! I seriously expected to be there until noon.

I also thought people who went thorough NVC document check seemed to be called quicker than others such as K-1 applicants. I guess the embassy doesn't really have a lot of documents they need to check themselves since NVC had already done that. I actually finished before many of those who came into the embassy before I did.

Tokyo staff were very professional and efficient. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you are not sure about anything. They will kindly answer your questions.

Things I have noticed that might have changed or be useful to others are:

1. If you have a joint sponsor, you may be asked to submit I-864A as an additional document by the embassy. I received an e-mail from them about a week before my interview to bring this form as my joint sponsor had filed her tax return jointly wither husband. NVC never asked for it, but the embassy did, so if you are in the same situation as me, be prepared to be requested to submit this form at the interview.

2. Visa is not issued on the same as the interview date. My status on CEAC changed to Administrative Processing right after the interview, and the status didn't change to Issued until Wednesday morning, I read other people's blogs that their visas were issued and sent out in the afternoon of the interview date. I was kinda expecting it will happen to me, but I was wrong. So I suggest not to assume the embassy will issue and mail back your passport on that day.

3. The actual interview took longer than I expeted. It seemed that they are now asking more questions. However, the interviewer only asked questions that were easy to answer if your relationship is real with love. Also, my spouse was not allowed to be with me during the actual interview.

4. I was never asked to present a copy of my DS-260 confirmation page at the interview.

I just found out that my passport was sent out from letter pack tracking site, and I should be receiving it tomorrow morning.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message, and I will try to answer your questions only from my experience!

I hope many more of you will have your interview soon, and get approved!!!

See you all in two years when we need to remove our conditions!!
