Very pleasant experience and I scheduled my fiancé's medical one day prior to the interview. We flew down to San Jose on the 16th, gathered all updated documents needed in Costa Rica, had medical on Monday the 22nd, interview the following day, told us we could pick up her visa on Thursday and we have our flight back scheduled for Saturday. Very important to have all the paperwork correct; ie: translations from Spanish to English for all the civil documents obtained here in Costa Rica, the original docs from here in Costa Rica, etc..., because the woman before me was not prepared and had no translations and her docs were not originals so they told her to come back another day.
Thanks to VJ I had the phone numbers needed to speak to the doctor prior to our flight to schedule her medical and thus her interview date. And thanks to VJ I also didn't have to totally depend and wait on Packet 3 from the Embassy with their last minute instructions javascript:emoticon(' ') javascript:emoticon(' ')
