When I was contacted by the consulate to pick up the initial packet, the lady there was very nice. I gathered the rest of the info needed and called to make an appointment. I was calling on a Thursday and made the appointment for the following Tuesday. The interview lasted about 5 minutes. I met with a really nice guy that could see I was very nervous. He asked me why and I told him it was because he had my future and my fiancee's future together in his hands! He told me to relax and that I didn't have anything to worry about. He was very nice and asked me several questions about my fiance and our relationship, including what type of vehicle she drove. Then.... I was approved! It was a great experience and completely different than any experience I had trying to get a tourist visa. My fiance visa was ready 2 days later.
