Sorry this is super long. We travelled down really early, so that we had 2.5 times the amount of time to travel. Got there about 50 mins early and parked in the on street parking on Washington street. There really isn't much parking available. Went in, was super easy and the security guys were really nice.
Sent to a different room than on the interview letter.Gave the interview letter over and was told by receptionist to sit in section c. Waited till approx 15 mins past our interview time and was called by a middle aged lady.
She took us across the hall into a separate area with offices. javascript'')
She had us take the oath then sat down, asked for ID, seemed annoyed that I did not have a drivers license or EAD with me, it was approved last week but not shipped until the day of my interview. Went over the yes/no questions.
She then asked how we met, husband answered and stated we had lived together since 2008, it is actually late 2007 but we only lived together for a few months in the UK before we moved to Canada that he forgets we had lived in that town all the time. She then saw my ssn and asked me "how did you get this?" Shocked I replied I came on a K1 and we are allowed to get one before we have the EAD/AOS. She kept asking if we had anything else to show a relationship - I gave the evidence of insurance, our new rental agreement and renters insurance and photos chronicling each year of our 11 year relationship where you can actually see us ageing. She seemed really shocked that we didn't have joint bank accounts, we had never had one even when we lived in the UK or in Canada. Our bank here was reluctant to give it as well as I did not have a US ID with a US address on it.
She questioned us quite a few times about family members, my husband doesn't have many living relatives and his mom actually still lives in the UK. So she seemed concerned that our wedding was just us. I explained that they all lived in the UK, but couldn't add that my mom was my granddads sole carer so if she and my dad couldn't come I wanted it to be just us as she cut me off. She was so shocked that any American would choose to live elsewhere she kept repeating the fact that my USC mom lives in the UK after her divorce as if she didn't believe it. Also asked multiple times if we had kids, seemed like she was trying to hint that my husband had a kid. Asked about his brothers and sisters and husband said no, I had to clarify that he is the only child of his parents marriage but his father had a child, much younger, with his second wife. She thought one of our photos was of our wedding but actually it was us at his dads second wedding. Then she said that she needed to review the file before she could make a decision and that we would be notified by mail.

All in all I was not confident when we left as we weren't given any information about our file being reviewed for a decision as others have, My husband wasn't asked to sign anything as others had and she didn't tell me about ROC until I asked. I have to say her English skills were surprisingly lacking, 2/3 times we had to ask her to repeat a question as it wasn't clear from her accent and phraseology what she was asking. One time she asked 'how are your parents living together?' I guessed she meant how far apart are your parents living in the UK after she had asked us if they had met.

After stressing all evening I received approval and notification of card production the next morning javascript'')
