This is a late review from my now wife's interview last Jan. 2014. Our K1 process has to be one of the longest ever, 15 months and we only had 1 RFE. I wasted about 3 weeks of that but still it was long and now folks are getting done in less than 6 months. Anyway as for the interview, we went into AP because my wife (now) did not bring her 20 year old daughter's birth certificate. She also has a 22 year old but he is not a minor. The agent took her passport and told her to mail in the BC which we did right away. The interview was Jan. 9. She got the visa in the mail around March 5. So we were in AP for about 3 months. This was just at the time that the NYT story came out about the American guy and the Aussie lady taking over a year so the Govt. spent millions to hire the CGI company (contractors) to get the work done, same ones who blew threw about 1 billion on the ACA website. Well at least the process is better now, too bad it's costing us taxpayers millions more.
