Fiancée Visa Interview at the US Consulate in Rio de Janeiro went very smoothly, the Consulate employees were very kind and helpful, and they asked very few questions. Unfortunately my fiancée had a previous overstay in the US and we had to apply for an I-601 "Waiver on the grounds of inadmissibility". Our waiver timeline:

RFE: December 10, 2013
Received RFE in mail: January 2, 2014
Responded to RFE: February 4, 2014
Status Changed to "RFE Response Review: February 6, 2014
I-601 Approved: February 14, 2014
Received instructions from RDJ Consulate on next steps: March 20, 2014
Visa Issued: April 4, 2014
