Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We were scheduled for 11:45am. We got there about 11:00am. We had to take off our shoes and place all our belongings in a tray for scanning. We were allowed to take our cell phone with us and we were allowed to use it in the waiting room. The room was path. We went to the appointment window and gave the lady seated there our interview letter and were told to sit a while and wait for our names to be called. IO was pleasant and took us down a long hallway to her office where she swore us in. She then told me to take out every original document I had with me including photographs.
She then asked me my husband birth date. She asked my husband where we met. She asked me how long we were dating before marriage, if he knew my parents and if his family or my family were at the wedding and why not, and if he knew my family members and how many brothers and sisters my husband has.
When did you guys meet? When did you guys get married?
What's your spouse's full name? where was he born?
Was he married before? Does he work? Where?
When was he born?
How much does your husband make annually ? ( I reply I don't know )
How many times do you came to USA?

She then proceeded to ask all the questions about prostitution. I got everything right and made no mistakes. The whole process took only like 15-20 minutes. The mistakes I made was when she asked me our home phone number which I don't use so I did not know the number. Plus, my husband forgot my cellphone number either. But I told her his cellphone number and of course my one. ( We have names in our cellphone today, no more numbers... just saying)

She then said, you should receive an answer within 120 days by mail. Now I am here in that situation.... I don't need to say more.

She kept my I94 and all documentation with both names together which was bank account, tax 2013, will, investments. she wrote on my I-94 and took 5 pictures from my album. She told me that after she reviewed the documents she will make a decision and let us know if she needed more evidence, if we were approved. We made sure that we are together for 9 years.

So that was it. She was not so friendly, but polite. We tried as much as we can to make her smile or be more friendly. We actually got smiles from her face sometimes. But I had the best experience ever.
On the next day I have got a text saying that my Green Card is in production.

One thing I can say is: If your interview is at Federal Plaza, NY. Be prepare.
