Here is our experience from HCM Consulate.
Questions had been asked:
1) What is your fiancé's date of birth and place of birth?
2) What is your fiancé's highest education?
3) What is his current address and phone number?
4) How many siblings does he have?
5) How many trips did your fiancé visit you and tell exact date of entry and left for each trip?
6) Can I see pictures and airplane tickets?
7) Where and When did he propose? Did he propose inside (VIP's room) or outside? Did you accept it right away or ask him to give you some times to think about it? Describe how he proposed.
8) Where is he working ? Can you describe the job that he works ?
They did not even look at mails, letters, Moneygram's receipts, or phone record. The CO told her that she did very well on her interview, however CO gave her the 1st blue slip to ask for additional document:
1st blue slip:
Beneficiary: Please fill out this form (Family relationship) and sign.
She filled it out and submitted it in the same day. However, CO gave her a 2nd blue slip.
2nd blue slip:
a) Petitioner and Beneficiary: Please submit original birth certificates of Beneficiary's parents and Petitioner's parent. To be honest, I have no idea why CO asked for Birth Certificate of parents. The CO might think that we are related. However, both parents do not have the same Last Name. For example: Her mom and dad's last name are Huynh, and Nguyen, respectively. My parent's last name are Pham, and Tran.
b) Petitioner: Please submit the timeline of your relationship with original sign, sworn statement and notary. The sworn statement has to be in English. My fiancé had gave them a timeline with original signature but they did not accept due to not sworn and notary.
c) Petitioner: Please list your current address and phone number. List all the residences for the past 10 years includes beginning and end date of the time period at each residence, and the full name and date of birth of each person residing with you at each address, along with the description of your relationship with the person. Also, they require an original signed, sworn, and notarized this statement.
She submitted all this paper, the CO gave her the 3rd blue slip.
3rd blue slip:
Petitioner: Please fill out this form ( Family relationship) and sign.
She submitted this document and finally got approved. We were so excited and waited for her visa, however the consulate called her 10 days later to let her know that the CO was forgot to ask my fiancee's signature in one of the form ( The form that indicates she has to marry me within 90 days of her arrival). We found out that many people got the same problem. Finally, she got her visa about 10 days later and she will fly to Florida tomorrow.
Good Luck Everyone.
