My appointment was at 9:30 am but arrived at 8:30 am as requested on letter. When i got at security they didn't have me on the list of approved visitors for the day. I panicked a tad for a moment but I showed them my letter, and they eventually added me in. I had to check out at hotel that morning so i had to leave my belongings there on 10th floor, that wasn't a big deal. I did have a water bottle with me, she told me i could keep it if I drank out of it first. She said if you are still standing after you can keep it lol
So anyway, got there, took a ticket, got called to a window. i guess they did have me for interview for that day because she had my file nearby. Provided them with my passport, took fingerprints and was told to go sit back. I was also given all my original documents back (birth certificate, police checks etc)
I waited until about 9:30am, then I got called to another window for interview. That went pretty good.
I was asked:
-What is the name of your fiancée
-When did you first meet
-When did we travel to see each other. How long for each trip
-When did you get engaged
-When and where do you plan on getting married
Then she took a picture of us out of my file and asked if that was taken in Alaska
-what does your fiancée do for living
-what do you plan to do when you get there
That was about it I think, then she said it’s was all good pending medical results(it was done the day before). Overall very friendly and professional people it was a good experience.
