Our appointment was at 1pm, we arrived at 12:45. There were 2 other pairs of people there before us. We were the second pair to be called in. The woman who interviewed us was very nice. We had to show our identification (passports) but she didn't want to see his EAD card, even though it was listed on the paperwork. She went over our application and asked my husband (the beneficiary) questions to make sure things were correct. She wanted to know if he knew our address and the date he arrived in the states last, if he had been arrested before- the general questions that he had to fill out on the paperwork. Then she asked us how we met and when/where we first met in person. She wanted to know how we decided to move here. She said it was her job to be nosy, but she didn't ask anything overly personal or that we hadn't answered before. She looked at our wedding pictures and our certified wedding license (we provided her a copy) and my divorce papers. Then she told us we were approved and that she wasn't going to stamp his passport since we'd be getting the green card in about a week and a half, but if he needed to travel before that, to come back and get a stamp. We were out by 1:30. It was a very pleasant experience overall!
