I had my interview on the 21st January at 10:30am. Went to the consulate at 10:05, went through security (I didn't bring anything except my folder full of evidence which was easier). Got directed to go up to the interview floor and waited for about 20 mins to be called up to the first window. The lady was very nice, asked for a few documents (I had to redo my DS-160 form so I gave the new confirmation page to her then). She gave me back my birth certificate, police certificate etc. Went and sat back down for another 15 mins and then got called up to the second window for the interview. The questions were:
How did you meet?
Has your fiance ever been to Australia?
Have you ever been arrested?
How do you two keep in touch?
What does he do for a living?
Confirmed who the I-134 co-sponsor was.
He looked through some of the photos in our file, remarked on how tall my fiance is and joked that he could pass for an Aussie haha.
He said I was approved and the visa should be there in a week or so. I gave them an express post envelope with signature and I received it today!
