Very much like every other Aussie review -- quick and painless! Took me about twenty minutes all up, from checkpoint to approval slip, and everyone was friendly and professional. Questions asked:
- Describe your relationship with your fiancee, beginning from when you first met.
- How did she propose?
- Why do you think Tracie is the one for you? (I laughed and answered "Because she calls me out on my shit") which he seemed to enjoy.
- What do you both have in common?
- What does she do for a living?
- How do you both keep in contact?
AND THAT'S IT. The officer flicked through the forms, handed me a slip and said "Congratulations, your Visa has been approved."
It's worth noting, having spoken to a few people who work in immigration, that Australia is basically non existant on the fraud radar. If your case is straight forward, the interview process is simply a formality.
